Swastikas painted on Whittier synagogue

how can this NOT be labeled a hate crime ??????? no other swastika was found anywhere else in the area. just on a temple. if they werent targeting jews why werent other swastikas found elsewhere ?
why is it that they spray their gang name all over town but the temple gets a swastika and somehow its NOT labeled a hate crime ????
am i missing something here ?????

I was thinking the same thing! But then again, there are no white people in Whittier so they think it was just mexican taggers.

Maybe it's just the L.A. Sheriff... never willing to go the extra mile to do extra work..

I was writing e-mails to this Temple a while back, stating that I was a young Hispanic who wasn't part of any religion, and wanted to visit and see what the religion was all about. I NEVER even got a response (Like it's so hard to hit reply on your e-mail). WTH Jews? Muslims and Mormons are ALL OVER new recruits. No wonder your numbers are dwindling.

So let me get this straight. You assume that they were Mexicans because 8 years ago they tagged the place? I have read the article and see nothing about it being Mexicans. I will read again. I dont want to post anything without facts. I wouldnt assume.

They should take guys like this and ship them off to Somalia or Afghanistan or Myanmar. So they can see what a world is like when it's ruled by the punks. These cowards wouldn't last 5 minutes. Jason, your over-simplified generalization of "these people" demononstrate you are quite the expert on the subject - ha! I see you take your personal opinions to be fact.

First of all, all Latinos are not Mexican and all Mexicans are not illegals nor are they all gang members. Try getting your facts straight next time, I'm sure that if you did, your point of view would change.

Cholos don't know about history!!! If you asked them about Nazi's, they wouldn't know about the persecution of the Jews. If you asked them where you can get a 40 of beer they would know directions and prob give you a map from mapquest.

Are you from around the area? Did you know that there is a Hells Angels Chapter in Whittier? Did you know that a main shot caller for the Aryan Brotherhood in Pelican Bay is from Whittier? and has ties to allot of people in the area? There are not only Mexicans in the city.

jews dont go out looking for 'recruits'. jews dont proselytize. im sure if you went there someone would show you around and explain things to you. call and ask them when services are-show up for services and see what theyre about
