Hopkins County Sheriff's Department Detective Will Coursey told The Messenger of Madisonville that 35-year-old Brandi Phelps of Nortonville was identified using dental records.

Trooper First Class John Komar was assisting Hopkins County Probation and Parole with a home visit at the home of Roger and Brittany Skimehorn in Nortonville, KY.

On Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at approximately 9:48 p.m., Trooper Carlo Anderson and Hopkins County Deputy Sheriff Ryan Bailey responded to a residence on East Poplar Street in Nortonville to investigate an anonymous complaint of possible drug activity.

On January 29, 2012, at 9:17 PM, Trooper Jon McGehee made contact with Cheryl L Scott, Age 49 of Madisonville, at a traffic safety checkpoint on US 41 approximately 4 miles south of Nortonville.
