Step back in time at the Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum as it puts away its exhibits for one weekend to make room for a fair of rich furnishings and antiques that once may have been part of everyday life at the historic mansion.

The Chenango County Industrial Development Agency released a summary of companies receiving payment-in-lieu of taxes agreements, bond finance packages and one-time sales tax abatements last year and the number of corresponding jobs created or retained as a result.

A trio of convicted felons were sentenced in county court Wednesday, while another 11 pleaded not guilty to the felony and misdemeanor charges brought against them.

The Chenango County Grand Jury last week handed up a number of criminal indictments.
