County lawmakers find tough going in 2008 session
“They were very controversial bills once they got to Annapolis. People looked at these bills and said, 'This could affect me.' ... It was a tough year.”
In most years, bills proposed by Howard County's delegation to the Maryland General Assembly "fly under the radar" and are passed almost as a courtesy by state lawmakers, according to Del. via Howard County Times
