September 08, 2009, 6:48 AM / HOMESTEAD FESTIVAL: The Buffalo Audubon Society will host the Homestead Festival from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday at Beaver Meadow Nature Center, 1610 Welch Road, North Java.

The double doors in the back of the still-under-construction Rock N' Java coffeehouse at 7555 Twin Peaks Road in Continental Ranch were flung open Friday, giving a perfect view to a small stage set up with microphones.
