A gang member who allegedly pointed a gun at another man on Sunday in North Hills was fatally shot by the man, who was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, and a teenage accomplice was wounded, police said.
Anthony DeLa Cruz, 23, told police he was at a market near Parthenia Street and Woodley Avenue around 12:55 a.m. when he got into a dispute with Rosalio DeLa Rosa, 22, and a 17-year-old boy, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.
DeLa Cruz said DeLa Rosa said he was in a gang and asked him "where are you from?"
