This tragic accident has not been fully reported by the police department.
Bill Adams was hit by a car by a driver who was clearly not paying attention. An eyewitness who wrote a report for the police stated that Bill was hit by the car, flew up in the air and landed on the hood of the car. The driver kept driving and Bill then hit the ground. The driver has not been charged even though she said she was driving 40 mph in a 30 mph zone... even though she left the scene of an accident that resulted in the violent death of a fine man who was cold heartedly left to die. She only came back because she wanted to save her own neck. Can the North Augusta Police Department please explain how they investigate hit and run accidents?
