Does anyone know who he was out on the lake with? Was the boat that he jumped out of going very fast? What happened? Did he hit his head or something?

How fast was the boat going when he jumped? Did maybe alcohol influence his jumping?

I heard that he suffered a broken neck when he hit the water. Watch the tribune to him on www.emersonfuneralhome.com , probably in 8 out of each 10 pictures alcohol is shown being used. So sad such a likeable guy but it appears his death was alcohol related.
It also appears that you're a dick. A self righteous dick to be more specific.

Whether or not alcohol was involved is irrelevant. This could have happened to someone had they not been drinking.

It is so sad that ignorant people get on threads like this and attempt to spread their stupidity. Why even mention the pctures if you are going to be negative. The pictures have NOTHING to do with anything. It was an accident that had nothing to do with alcohol. I hope that when you die, people make up shit to show disrespect to your sorry ass.

Brown Lacy was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure to be around. His devotion to Cassie and their wonderful children was inspiring. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and, most of all, by Cassie, his soul mate. Also people should be thinking of Joe and Suzanne Simpson for their commitment to Cassie during this rough time.

Just because someone is having a beer and a group photo is taken, that doesn't mean they habitually drink or that alcohol was "involved" in an accident.I'm sure that Mr.Lacy, being a health and fitness devotee, wasn't and didn't drink to a point that would impair his judgement that badly after being at the lake probably most of his life and jumping out of boats before. If you will look at some of the pictures, they were taken in vacation/resort spots, and hey,a lot of people will order a beer on those occasions.
He's gone,it was tragic and sad,and now just leave it alone. What happened or how doesn't change things. The only thing that I might could say to people that keep bringing this up (and this topic has been deleted once before) is: wear a life belt or vest on the water, and, that's enough about Brown's death.
He probably didn't need or want the HASSLES that come from being the mayor of Jonesboro. He was involved in enough to do good without that headache. I'm sure he would have made a good one however, had he chosen it.

Whoever posted the post about Joe and Suzanne Simpson (probably one of them themselves) Should take a look at the BIG PICTURE. They don't have clue although they are "want to be's". Brown deserved a much better send off than Joe gave him. I've heard several people say it way very inappropiate. He was very degrading at the funeral, it was all about him (Joe). Like I've heard several people say is he "tried to get everything in" (about himself). Brown deserves much better that this than to have so called friends like this. God help you Cassie!! Watch you back.

And that is TERRIBLE, Joe should not have even been concerned with himself at all at Lacy's funeral. Lacy's funeral is suppose to be ALL about HIM and his life.

Maybe Brown would say to everyone if he could (and in a way,he can) to enjoy life and cherish every moment, and never miss a chance to show your friends and loved ones what they mean to you.One day you'll look around, and, they won't be there anymore,so,tell them you love them, while you can.

I think that was the whole point. "YOU self righteous fool" It was supposed to be about Brown but Simpson tried to make it all about him. Did you not get the point or what? And by the way...Who is "fond" of that loser?(Joe)

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
