Does Breastfeeding Law Need Penalties?

Sounds like the police doesn't even know the laws here in Kentucky.

It's pretty sad when you can turn on your T.V. and find sex on anytime of the day, when parents buy video games for their kids that involve killing cops and stealing cars, when people don't give a second thought to foul language,...

.....but a natural way fo feeding a baby gets them offended.

Pardon me, but I don't want to see your breast. I agree that women should be allowed to breast feed in public, but the should also show some modesty. Whipping that bad boy out and giving everone a free show is disgusting. The law should be amended to where some sort of coverup is REQUIRED.

Well if you do not want to see it when the women "whip it out" then dont look at her look the other way. People kill me when they act like their eyes can only look 1 way and their heads cant turn. Gimme a break whining babies!!

I breastfed my daughter and I completely agree women should be allowed to breastfeed anywhere. However, The "dont look at her" plan is not realistic. I dont want to be in a public place with my man or my child and have any of us see a bare breast even if its just a glance and then look away. Women should cover up while breastfeeding. It is still a breast and it is a private area. Urinating is a natural function too but we arent allowed to "whip it out" and do that in public either. Cover up!

It is unreal that this even happened...however this is Berea and what can you expect, this is what happens in a little town, no one can keep their noses in thier own business. She is breast feeding for goodness sake, it's a natural part of life, what do you think breast are here for.

I agree that breast are natures bottle for baby, but the times are different now days and i agree that a cloth diaper or light crib blanket put over yourself while breastfeeding is being discreet and yet being able to nurse your child in comfort and privacy .A little common sense is all it's going to take ,what was a natural thing years ago is not so natural these days.,Everything is more fast paced these days and the younger generation is in to newer things and seeing someone nurse their baby is strange to them all they can see is the boob idea .Does any of this make any sense to any of you?And people tend to be prissy , i had to add that....

Yes, personally, being discrete is best. but hay, lets not compare it to urinating. Most of the worlds diseases began to be cured when we stopped bathing in our own feces and urine. There is a distinct difference between supplying a baby with its food and releasing bodily waste products in a public place. It just seems like people are less offended by a breast if its a twenty something who is just showing them off rather then a mother feeding a baby.

berea is the laughing stock of america two recent arrests on for letting kid play outside who got sunburn, and now for feeding child in public ha ha.

I know her, she is a trouble maker anyway. she flaunts her breasts, not her breastfeeding. she loves the attention, don't be fooled. I think a woman can breastfeed anytime anywhere. but she gives breastfeeding moms a bad name.
