Defense tries to have evidence tossed in child sex assault case
A Plaistow detective charged with criminal threatening and simple assault was challenged in court on Friday about his role in arresting a Massachusetts sex offender accused of molesting a young girl inside a Walmart store.

George Wickson, 40, was indicted by a Rockingham County Superior Court grand jury on a felony count of criminal threatening for allegedly pointing the knife at the man, "and stating words to the effect of 'shut up or I'll slice you,' " according to an indictment.
