RYAN RUGENUS of Newport will be one of 10 talented 4-H public speakers who spent a day in Philadelphia visiting its historical sites such as Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, Franklin Court and many other center-city landmarks.

Come to an old-fashioned Memorial Day celebration at Broad Street Cemetery on Monday, May 28, from noon to 3:30 p.m. The celebration will begin with a PIC-NIC on the lawn at the church from Nnoon to 12:40 p.m., followed by talks in the old brick church and tours of the veterans' grave sites.

Audrey K. Reynolds, 80, of Newport passed away on Friday evening, May 4, 2012, at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center.
