3 charged in vehicle break-ins

Derien Alexander Medders, 17, Jaleel William Anthony Evans, 19, and Forrest Alden Mercer, 17, all of Newport, were charged Monday by the Newport Police Department with five counts of felony break and enter a motor vehicle and 3 counts each of misdemeanor larceny from motor vehicle and misdemeanor possession of stolen property.
