Man dies in motorcycle-bus crash on Staten Island
One man is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a New York City bus.
Police say 43-year-old Derrick Walker struck the MTA bus near the corner of Richmond Terrace and Morningstar Road on Staten Island. Walker was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the Thursday night accident remains under investigation. They say the bus driver remained with his vehicle and is not expected to be charged.
