Oskaloosa, Iowa - After a two- year absence from the Oskaloosa area, Fridley Theatres will resume management of the Penn Central Theatre in Oskaloosa.

Thomas Jon "T.J." Goemaat, ten year old son of Jon and Tami Goemaat of rural New Sharon, stepped into God's Kingdom on Sunday, April 29, 2012, while being cared for at the Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa.

The Supervisors meeting was nearly as normal as every other in the past, with the exception of being two days later than normal.

Bernice Hasselman, 99, of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at the Oskaloosa Care Center in Oskaloosa.
