WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Based on the damage just west of New Ross, the National Weather Service did confirm the severe storm in Montgomery County did produce a tornado.

A tornado touched down in Montgomery County on Tuesday night, destroying a barn, damaging two homes and leaving uneasy but uninjured residents behind.
