Ida kills 42 in El Salvador, heads for U.S. Gulf Coast

A hurricane watch was issued Sunday for the U.S. Gulf Coast as Hurricane Ida moved through the Yucatan Channel heading into Gulf waters, the National Hurricane Center said.
