York County natives killed in D.C. Metro crash

Maj. Gen. David F. Wherley Jr. Maj. Gen. David F. Wherley Jr., retired commanding general of the D.C. National Guard, and his wife, Ann, were among those killed Monday in the collision of two Metro trains in Washington, D.C. They were originally from York County and 1965 graduates of York Catholic High School.

Two fine people along with 7 others lost their lives because of affirmative action breeding incompetence. That train operator was an inexperienced welfare bunny who shouldn't have been driving a tricycle. More death due to stupid social policies.

To the fine, ill informed, human being who used this article to talk about "social policies" ("wake up people"): The train operator tried to stop. Obviously she was not on welfare since she was working one of the most grueling jobs the District has to offer. Please inform yourself before making such stupid, hate-filled comments. Please have a little respect for the lives lost - the Wherleys' and the seven others.
To the Wherley family: our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tragic time.

Ann and Dave are my Aunt and Uncle, they were amazing people and were on the train home after training to volunteer at Walter Reed Army Hospital. They will be greatly missed by all who knew them!
