During the May 21 Fairlawn City Council meeting, Mayor William Roth swore in two new full-time police officers for the Fairlawn Police Department.

Four Barberton residents were injured in a crash April 8 along state Route 21. According to the Wooster Post of the State Highway Patrol, Glenn E. Waller Jr., 30, Kimberly R. Waller, 30, and Hannah L. Waller, 2, all of Keller Street, were transported to Montrose West by a Chippewa Township squad.
