I would like to know what the smoking percentage of the population is in that area also. Is there a connection there? I can't imagine the rate os cancer is just linked to the coke ovens alone.

There is no proof smoking causes cancer.
If you have proof, please post a death certificate stating cause of death was smoking.

Wow !!!!!!!!!! there is proof that smoking causes cancer. Also there is proof that southern ohio is a breading ground for dumb people that can not research something before a opening their mouths.
The death Cert will say lung cancer...... so..... now what mr GED smoker retard!

So what happens to the people. What happens to the people that have already gotten cancer? What happens to the people who have already been exposed? Our water filitration plant is on the same acreage plots as the old coke plant. The water in Portsmouth, hasnt been drinkable in years. Who is to blame and what happens to us and our loved ones when we die from the cancer that is caused by these companies.
