Derry Township teen gets at least 4 years in thefts

A Derry Township teenager was sentenced Thursday to serve at least four years in prison for his role in a series of home burglaries and other thefts late last year.

It's about time the law starts catching up with the New Derry scums! Can't lie your way out of this one Clawsons! I wonder if the jail will house him with any Uncles or cousins? Make it a family affair.

Well suzi or whomever your posting under today you seem to think you know all the facts. The fact is Tristan Clawson isn't even related to the new Derry Clawson's. Tristan Clawson is of the latrobe clan which just happen to share the same last name thats is it. Also you statements on the Jones slaying are just like this post pointless since the dead can't speak for themselves and the only facts that have come out to date do not support your claims. Sorry to say but to myself you sound more like Chicken Little. The sky may just fall on your head before you know it making statements you can't back up or prove.

cut off his hands, this will stop his future crime spree,(which we all know will happen,do not deny it ) and this surely will curb someone else in the future. not all ,but some. then put him on welfare,and get it over with it. there is no chance for rehab. do not do the crime ,if you can not do the time.

he best part of ris whenthe bridge, make the right..drive real slow and watch the 2 overweight women yelling at each other and if its a weekend, they might actually throw punches. I won't mention their names but..they both have very "famous" offspring in Derry.

it's a shame derry and new derry have such bad names from these low life drug addicts...im from derry and have a masters (2years early mind you) in accounting...i graduated from derry before this disgustingness started...we all know whats going on...but do people really care enough to do something about it? derry and new derry really can have a positive future...if everyone puts forth an effort!

Derry, and New Derry people are good core people, don't dump on the few that are the problem. Many are true blue settlers of the area, and concerned to get resolutions to this problem.

I agree. I have a masters degree, am married to a college graduate, have owned a home since I was very young, am independent, a community involved native who owns a business. I am not a heroine user. I have had several friends die of drugs and/or alcohol. Derry is NOT JUST HEROINE! Yes, it IS a problem. I have been afforded my fair share of its detrimental side effects. But, people, COME ON...talk about solutions, or talk about something positive. Why let this problem TOTALLY OVERWHELM any glimmer of hope here? Stereotyping every Derry citizen to a doom of heroine is TRULY halfminded.

If you do the crime, you should pay for it.... Drugs take our childeren away from us. To many people think it can't happen to there childeren, or they are to good ... Open your eyes people....
All walks of life are doing them, The state needs
to stop helping these peolpe by giving them drugs to get off of drugs.,They give them everything, they have more rights than the worker.. We need to get stronger laws and get wake up.... Who's going to run our county......
