Semi Strikes Disc Near Neoga

The incident occurred on the Trowbridge Road a half-mile east of the Shelby/Cumberland county line.A State police say the driver of the farm tractor pulling the disc, 58-year-old Gary Hartke of Neoga, attempted to pull off the road into a ditch to let traffic around him, but a semi driven by 60-year-old Robert Strohl of Neoga hit the disc.

Fire Destroys Barn, Burns Surrounding Timber

Troy Althoff of the Sigel Fire Protection District said firefighters were called at 10pm to a barn full of hay bales.A Althoff said they haven't determined the cause of the fire.
