American way: School, work a priority for Haitian teens living on their own in Naples

This story makes me happy. It is a blessing to be from a country with so much opportunity. These children are taking full advantage of what is in front of them. Yes, it is a struggle that will hopefully pay off for them. Everyone that has the strength, drive, and "fire" to work as hard as these children do deserve a chance in life. I wish them the best.

Wow, I cannot believe racism still is being expressed. Gross! What makes some people feel that they are better than others. My grandmother, an old white woman, always told me that racism among some whites is caused by ignorance. Stay strong and ignore the ignorance. People like that never value education. The only thing they take pride in is insulting people who are culturally different or have a different skin color. Shame on him. He is missing out on reality.
