MB man sentenced in motorcycle deaths

Two counts of reckless homicide= Five Years

Wonder how their kids feel about that?

Why is it that he didn't get the sentence suspended to one year in jail and a few on probation. Is the court saying that getting drunk first, partially exonerates you. The kid deserved the five years, but so did the drunk. Actually the drunk was committing a crime before she killed anyone. She was cheated of justice or fairness.

I think you have to have a little compasion for a 16 and 17 year old who make a mistake and harm no one but themselves, vs. a 20 year old man that takes the lives of a mother and a father

Sorry, I now see you were talking about the DUI on Bypass 17. You are right! They both should have recieved a lot mor than they did. One Year? She should have gotten that just for the DUI!

You certainly are entitled to your opinion I respect that. But they were both drinking and both chose to hit the road drunk, at 16 it is a tragedy for all concerned.

This is normal down here in SC we have had 5 bikers killed by cages and dui and they all got 5 or less !! For murder !! 20 to death !!!!

You are right but no one will know if the young lady that died was awake when the driver got behind the wheel! It's funny how the justice system give people 10 to 25 tears for selling user something they want and pat the wrist of people who cause so much harm! Backwards! Just like the give child molestors so little time for ruin kids lives. People that do those things should never see light outside of prison but guess what, who's responsible for most of those crimes?

Oh you don't know that! The passanger may have been drinking and could have been sleep when the other young lady took the wheel! She broke no laws sitting in the passanger seat! I hate it when people in these blogs try to make light of what people have done because of their age or their race is the same as yours!I respect those of you who stick to your views no matter the age or race! wrong is wrong! I've seen some of you same bloggers state that a 16 and 17 year old get hung because their friend was stupid enough to pull the trigger and kill Corey! Some of you can't talk because I've seen you out there wishing death on some people yourselves so sweep around your own front door before trying to sweep around someone else!
