The Texas Department of Transportation has approved an 80 mile an hour speed limit on 54 miles of toll roads in the Austin area, 1200 WOAI news reports.

Wednesday afternoon Guadalupe County Sheriff's office received a call from a citizen reporting an officer slumped over the wheel of his patrol car.
