A 35-year-old San Bernardino woman already was wanted on three arrest warrants when she led deputies and California Highway Patrol officers on an hour-long car chase last week through San Bernardino and Riverside counties, investigators say.

San Bernardino County Supervisor Josie Gonzales would appear to be in a comfortable position as she seeks a third term on the Board of Supervisors.

The chase started in Highland at 8:52 a.m. when the female driver of a bronze sedan refused to yield at a traffic stop.

A woman driver and her male passenger led lawmen on an hour-long pursuit this morning through San Bernardino and Riverside counties before being arrested in Muscoy where the chase began, officials say.
