Henderson County officials say a fire on a tanker truck carrying a flammable substance is slowing traffic on Highway 31, east of Murchison.

MURCHISON - Three severely neglected horses have been taken in by The Humane Society of the United States after Constable Dennis Taylor's Office seized them pursuant to a court order finding that the owner's mistreatment of the horses violated the Texas Health and Safety Code.
