Pitman Crimelog: Warrant arrests and a vehicle break-in

Nick Barbetta made a vehicle stop on Pitman-Downer Road, which led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Sewell man on active warrants from Washington and East Greenwich townships, totaling $714. The man was lodged in the Gloucester County Jail when he couldn't post bail.

Maurice Sendak, author of 'Where the Wild Things Are' remembered by local libraries

"Please don't go. We'll eat you up. We love you so," said KW, one of the creatures from Maurice Sendak's beloved book "Where the Wild Things Are." On Tuesday, many of Sendak's fans and literary buffs shared KW's sentiment after learning that Sendak, 83, died Tuesday at 3 a.m. in his Connecticut home due to complications from a massive stroke.
