BULLETIN: Man charged with murder after fatal car wreck

My prayers are with the whole family. I just can't beleive Sheila is gone, a wonderful lady, mother and wife. I just don't know what to say................

I have 2 boys that are always wanting to work, but even when you ask (friends) No we already have the Mexicans working..............keep the money here, instead of sending it to Mexico

It is time for America to stand up and do what is right for our country. If you suspect that a person is here illegally you should call INS. Keep calling until the person is investigated.

My prayers goes out to the family , but it could have been your kin in the truck which hit this lady, now is not the time to be hating. Two people lost their futures,hopes and dreams,and they both have families left here to deal with the after-math. Give each a prayer, because they both need some. And I agree if Mexicans are going to be here the laws need to be changed so everyone is safe on our roadways.

everyone of you are forgetting the point! A wife and mother was killed. I understand that everyone is upset because it was a mexican that killed this woman but my question is would you be this upset if it were a white person? NO! I am not a mexican or mexican lover either, I am a white woman married to a white man. If they find this person to be an illegal, he should still be tried in the U.S. and then transported back to mexico and forced to live in the prisons there. That will never happen so here is a thought, why don't they take all americans on welfare and put them in the jobs that the mexicans have and force them to work for the welfare? I too can answer that, americans are just to lazy to actually do the labor for the wages the mexicans will do

The posting is not hating It's the comment that you made, 2 people lost their future,hopes and dreams, he made that decision when he got behind that wheel DRUNK must not have thought to much going for him, so he had to take it away from someone else that did have a future,dreams and hopes. That has all ended for shelia's family. So yes they have the right to hate. He's the one decided,,she didn't ask for this. He is a real macho now.

I really dont know what to say except YES I was More upset then I am now when it was my sister in law that killed in a wreck. To this day I can not and will not speak to the man that left his truck setting in the road with no lights or flares. They were coming form a viewing of a family member when this happened. As far as welfare goes everyone complains about it but if you will check you will see that they do have to do community work to recieve a check. No I do NOT get welfare but I have a pregrant friend that does and she does community work or she doesnt get a check. Hope this helps some of you understand they is still some white people who do work. Honestly, right now is not the time to bring welfare in the conservation, most mexicans that work from my UNDERSTANDING the good old usa pays them also. That is what i was told anyway and that is the reason the mexicans work for cheaper pay. I don't know that for a fact about work. But I do know for a fact that we Americans that drive must put tags, have drivers license, and Insurance, or we are illegal to be on the roadway. Also if you are going to drink have a designated driver or don't drink.

Lexington Mayor Jeff Newberry has constantly told Lexington-Fayette County Police that when they pull over Mexicans that are not citizens and dont have insurance or license let them go. Unfortunately, this incident ended in tragedy. That's right, we pay the price if we are hit by an illegal.
This poor lady paid the ultimate price. What happens when your daughter or son gets hit by an illegal and they are (God forbid) crippled for life? Who pays the medical bills? You do. Who pays for the rest of their lives? You and your family.
Did you know that in America, illegals cannot be denied medical treatment? Who pays for that? We all do. People who shouldn't be in this country to begin with have the same (if not better) healthcare anyone does. They also have as many rights (if not more) than American citizens.
So, again explain to me how it is racist to say illegals should be kicked out of America. Try explaining your position to the family of this lady who was simply going about her daily life. If it happens to you or someone you love, comeback and tell me how it doesn't matter to you if they were illegal or not.

I work with a bunch of wetbacks in a factory and I know because they have showed me there check stubs and told me. I make $12.54 an hour (full time) and they make $8.00 an hour as a temporary worker. We work the same hours and there paychecks average about 1 to 2 hundred dollars more than mine! Do you know why? It is because they do not have to pay taxes! That is a fact! So dont give me that BS about them not making no money working minimum wage because they do! The reason that they live in houses with 10 of them there is because it saves them even more money. They drive junky beat up old cars and trucks that have no insurance or tags on them to save even more. They have plenty of money to pay for the things that would make them legal to drive but they will not because they do not have any regard for our laws here and they are low lifes. Maybe you should go live with them because you definantly sound like you would fit right in! People like you make me fu*king sick!

Tyler was visiting my neighbor when this accident happened. I had the pleasure of getting to know him for the last couple of summers and my heart goes out to him and his family. Jetta has become a great friend and like family to me. I hope god can give her peace.

I know three girl's that was hit by a car as a child by an all American WHITE boy that was the grandson of a judge. He ran off the road and was high as a Georgia Pine too. He didn't have any insurance either. He lost his liscense for a little while but Grand Daddy's name kept him from being in too much trouble. Yeah that's the American way too. Some of you people are just plain stupid if you think it's only the Mexican's that drive illegally around here.

I know some of us drive without insurance and stuff but that may be 1 out of 30 of us. I listin to the scanner all of the time and most of the time old john smith has insurance and is compleatly legal other than speeding or something like that. Pedro lopez on the other hand is usualy just like this case drunk, no insurance, no license and the car is not regestered in there name or not regestered at all. And no they do not get away with it here. They are put in jail and given a trial date just like John Smith would have.

I agree with you. What about the all "American" guy that wrecked his vehicle while he was drunk and killed Johnna Gilmore. How much time did he spend behind bars? It's all kinds that do this. But because this one is Mexican so it just gives the wannabe natzi's that are racist something else to talk about.

There seen to be an awful lot of prejudiced people on here. If it were an American who hit this lady not a single word would have been said. I run a business and I would rather have a Mexican work for me any day than a American. At least they will work. Americans are lucky to show up for a whole week, or they just show up to get their paychecks. There is good and bad in everyone. This was a fatal accident and now two families will suffer, not just one. And yeah your right, they should have to get drivers license. But the u.s. should give them a chance to get it too. Oh yeah, and their wages, they are the ones whgo are putting money into social security right now that all you people will be drawing off of someday. THE UNITED STATES IS BROKE. Haven't you heard. You got it little brother! I feel for the family but the bashing one nationality and not our own is stupid. And just to those that are wondering. No I am not invloved with any Hispanics, I have an American husband and I don't employ any either. I just see people as people period, black, white, brown or any other. They are all human. If they drink and drive or get high and drive they should pay the price no matter who they are or what their last name is.

Mexican, white, black, yellow or green, it doesn't matter. This man made a decision to drive under the influence, without insurance and without a license. He should be punished. Right now we all need to keep the Lovell and Harper families in our prayers. God Bless this family, I knew Shelia and saw her pretty often and I know she will be missed greatly. My prayer and wish is for God to wrap his arms around her family and friends and ease their hearts.
