Penn State fans of all ages stopped Sunday night at the statue of Joe Paterno next to Beaver Stadium to pay tribute to the iconic football coach who died earlier in the morning at 85 after a bout with lung cancer.

The dead body of a male was discovered in the Juniata River near Mount Union at about 8 p.m. Thursday evening during a search for a missing person being conducted by Newton Wayne Fire Co., according to Jeff Harman, Information Officer from Mount Union Fire Co.

Day two of a large river search in Huntingdon County has ended without success. The search and rescue effort got underway early on Sunday when a Mount Union Police Officer saw a man jump or fall off a highway bridge and into the Juniata River.
