It's an artist town. It's even still a Wild West town. Every February, southern Arizona's biggest city, 185km below Phoenix, keeps schools open on President's Day but closes them later in the week for the annual Tucson Rodeo Parade.
Mt. Lemmon opening access ahead of schedule
Park officials will open the gates at the following locations on Feb. 28 - General Hitchcock Campground; Incinerator Ridge Road; Organization Ridge Road, Marshall Gulch; Control Road and the road to Lemmon Rock parking area.
