WARREN, MI: Carolan Dalton, 80 years old, died November 22 at Autumn Woods Nursing Home in Warren, Michigan.

Carlton R. Edwards, 86, of Pataskala, passed away at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on September 22, 2009.

St. Veronica Church in Mount Carmel and possibly three other East Side parishes are restricting hand-to-hand contact during Masses to try to stop the spread of the H1N1 virus.

UNION TWP. - The body of Army Spc. Gregory J. Missman, who was killed in Afghanistan last week, is to be flown home later Wednesday.

The remains of Spec. Gregory Missman, the Clermont County soldier who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this month, are scheduled to arrive in the Tri-State on Wednesday.

The body of Staff Sgt. Tony Wojciechowski, the Union Township Marine killed in Iraq last week, returned home Thursday, borne in a long and solemn procession past many of the places where he was known and loved in his short life.

When the second Glen Este High School graduate killed in Iraq returns home for the last time, the procession from Lunken Airport will travel past his alma mater, his parent's house and the home of his grandfather, all in Union Township.

Friends said Staff Sergeant Tony Wojociehowski couldn't wait to join the military.

The family of Staff Sgt. Tony Wojciechowski, the Clermont County Marine who died a week ago in Iraq, hopes he is given a hero's welcome when his body is returned home Thursday.

Tri-State residents will get a chance to support a local fallen soldier on Thursday afternoon.

Funeral arrangements are now being finalized for 25-year-old Clermont County native, Staff Sergeant Tony Wojciechowski.
