Operation Moon Burn targets drug suspects

A three-month undercover investigation dubbed Operation Moon Burn has resulted in narcotics agents identiying 116 suspects in 207 different drug buys, with 43 suspects already in custody by 3 p.m. today, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd said this afternoon.

Notice that they paid little attention to west Jackson county. I've logged numerous complaints to the sheriffs office but have had them fall on deaf ears. I can point out the drug dealers in my neighborhood but deputies seem uninterested in this activity in west Jackson county.

I saw at least three "defendants" on the news from Virginia city (St. Martin) and four from the Cedar Grove area.
