The San Mateo County coroner's office has identified 49-year-old Matthew Runte, of Walnut Creek, as the man who died Friday evening after his boat capsized off the coast of Half Moon Bay.

The Coast Guard says the unidentified man was pronounced dead Friday at Seton Coastside Hospital in Moss Beach.
