A Mosheim-area man escaped serious injury about 3 a.m. today when the pickup truck he was driving struck a horse near the intersection of Lonesome Pine Trail and Marvin Road.

An elderly Mosheim man was fatally injured about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday when he pulled his car into the path of a pickup truck on U.S. 11E at its intersection with Spring Street in Mosheim.
