8 arrested in Lewis County meth operation

Eight people have been arrested in a drug sting that Lewis County authorities dubbed "Operation Merry Christmas." The Lewis County Sheriff's office says Thursday's arrests were the result of a three-month investigation into a local band of Methamphetamine dealers in the towns of Morton and Packwood.

Morton man accused of assault sent to Western State Hospital

A Morton man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy in a Castle Rock sports complex restroom has been found incompetent to stand trial and ordered to be held at Western State Hospital.
