Curious George, the young pit bull found starving on a Delaware County road, will be spending the holidays in his new home.

MEDIA-The former owner of Curious George, the emaciated American Bulldog-Pit Bull mix that was recently rescued, has turned himself in to authorities thanks to the hard work of the Delaware County SPCA Humane Investigator Bill Vernon and Morton Police Department's Chief Eugene Guarnere, the SPCA announced Tuesday.

Lamont Alexander, 28, of Morton, was charged with two counts of animal cruelty for wantonly failing to provide care and animal abandonment.
