Fire sparks inside Plattsburgh hotel
Crews from 10 fire departments are battling a fire at Comfort Inn on Route 3. A large crowd gathered outside after the fire alarms began to ring inside the large hotel around noon Saturday.
When neighbors spotted flames surging through an Elm Street home early Wednesday, they frantically called 911, fearing the raging fire would threaten their homes too.
