Gun seizure fight heads toward appeal
A lawyer representing two Morrice area men and their late father's estate has filed an appeal with the Michigan State Court of Appeals after a 35th Circuit Court judge threw out part of their lawsuit against the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office over the seizure of various weapons from the father's home in 2007.
