Blackhawk Composites starting business in Ky.

is this So-Comp the group that was in with wind energy and didn't Mayor Eva Hawes make them leave morgantown a year or so ago?
I am so excited about them and their 16 or so employees comming back to morgantown... After they where forced out they went to BG and they liked their employees so much they gave the a ride to BG..
they are really good people and I hope the best for them...
The city of morgantown had nothing to do with getting them to come back the Govenor of our great state of KY made this happen... I wish them well..

You like many others are mistaken. This is the same bunch that took millions in GRANT money from the state, and blew it, and when the money ran out so did they!! Same people different name. When will morgantown, and the state of kentucky ever learn?

Just so, you understand this is not all the same bunch and understand Blackhawk is huge and from what I understand, they are going to be making their own parts here. How can that not work? It is a no brainer.

Im also happy about Blackhawk comeing someone said that Tim hack helped get them here and sold them a Building. If so Thanks Tim

i have better news about this company.mike baker who was the main man at cousin dons the last 5 years before he went broke.
he is the plant mgt and does all the hiring.

yes mr baker and mr west was the ones who got me and my wife a job.

the truth basically has it right. the guys running the place are formerly so-comp, but so-comp was not involved with wind energy. they actually lost their jobs aswell with the company leaving. they worked for Dynastrosi, which was wind energy's sister company that was contracted to design and teach all of the employees how to manufacture them. so they lost their jobs just like everyone else and went out on their way to try to make it on their own in mo-town and keep the employees that wind energy fired employed. Unfortunately they ran into some issues trying to find a building in mo-town, so they relocated to BG. but now so-comp has been absorbed by Blackhawk, a leader in the "hot rod" aerospace industry, and thanks to some co-operation with the Hacks and the govenor they should be around for a good long while.

p.s. mike isnt the plant manager or in charge of the hiring, but he can prolly still put in a good word for ya.

all they are coming here for useing another name they can get tax dollars starting another plant under another name free money. dont worry they wont be here long they will be gone and most likey the money too

This company is full of shit. Eva did nothing for them except buy back a building from hack that city sold a couple year ago and allowed him to make big bucks. Hack, shame on you for screwing your hometown. People went out on a limb to help you buy this freakin building and you get it all dirty and crappy then sell back to city for big profit.

Sounds Like you dont know shit if you are talking about the old kellwood building and saying it is dirty i have been in it two weeks ago Tim Chris and Tracy spent a lot of money on that place its one of the cleanest and updated places iv seen. i know the Hacks They are doing the city a good thang by working with them and that large co that may be putting alot of Jobs here . so shame on you for downing people thats trying to help our city.the Hacks dident have to shut down to sell the building back to the other co. but the did and thats makes them ok in my book.

Man you People Need to get a life The Building the Hacks Sold Black Hawk Is the old Casco Building By the middle School . that they got from Casco. I Do agree with the city Com the old Kellwood Building Looks Awsome inside.
