Strong storms and tornadoes ripped through rural parts of Hood County, TX, Wednesday, killing at least six people.

Forecasters had previously determined that an EF-0 tornado touched down near Moreland in Coweta County, downing trees and damaging a house and a boat during about a minute of destruction.

The woman died trying to save the remaining children. Firefighters were alerted at 1:17 a.m. Saturday to the blaze at the single-story home in Newnan, about 40 miles southwest of Atlanta.
