An accident was reported at North 18th and East Oak Streets. Samanda Parham of Moravia was driving a 2003 Ford owned by Jaqueline Richardson pulled out of the Hy-Vee parking lot directly into the path of a 1995 Dodge driven by Jeffrey Richmond of Centerville and owned by Mildred Richmond.

KaSandra Van Veen of Moravia has recently published her first book, a collection of poetry, through the online self-publisher, lulu.com. Van Veen, who publishes under the pen name KaSandra Kelly has been writing since high school and indeed one of the poems in the collection is from that era.
