A second man was arrested last week in connection with a Jan. 27 beating at Trains Tavern that left a 44-year-old Maine man unconscious and badly injured.

Newly released documents, including e-mail messages, indicate a one-time Democratic candidate for Maine governor may have known far more about an anonymous website aimed at destroying one of her opponents than she acknowledged.
