Marlin D. Graber of rural Odon, driving a 2006 Dodge Ram Pick-up, southbound and and did not see an approaching northbound 1997 Lexus driven by 18 year old Marcus L. Knepp of Montgomery.

A young man found by Washington firefighters Saturday morning in a smoke-filled house with a burning garage, in the 900 block of South West Third St., has been identified as 18-year-old Jacob Bowling, of Montgomery.

Filling in for vacationing Daviess County Highway Superintendent Phil Cornelius, Tom Ash reported to the commissioners that due to the mild winter and the earlier than normal spring conditions, the highway department is fielding calls from county residents about dust control.

According to information from the Daviess County Sheriff's department, Libby Robinson was sent to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis following a meth lab explosion at 1257N 650E, north of Montgomery.
