Way to go Tom! I wish you and the other people who agreed to participate in the program luck. We need to start moving away from gasoline burning transportation and hopefully programs like the Mini E will provide valuable information that will bring EV's to market soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong. To my understanding, the electric car is battery operated (large). Eventually, the batteries will have to be replaced and disposed. Would that not be damaging to the environment? What would be the approximate savings in comparison to fuel?
