The announcement by Adams County Council President Randy Colclasure that he will seek a new term this year means five Republicans are seeking three council nominations in the May primary.

Identifying a county-wide approach as the best method to move Adams County to the forefront, the three school systems; Adams Central Community Schools, North Adams Community Schools, and South Adams Schools, approved at their January meetings the development of a county-wide common school schedule for all public-school students in Adams County.
