'I-5 Strangler' gets 6 consecutive life terms

A convicted murderer has been sentenced to six consecutive life terms for killing six women, including one from Modesto, throughout Central California during the 1970s and '80s. Seventy-year-old Roger Reece Kibbe was serving a life sentence for the 1987 strangling of a teen prostitute when he pleaded guilty in September to the six other slayings.
