Suspects have histories of varied crimes

You know for the most part having been born and raised in this area...95% of these native americans don't charish anything they have let alone anything that was historical. Most of them are completely worthless..! But as far as the so called theft of these artifacts goes...my friends, family, people I know..people I dont know have been doing this for countless years in this area...these people that are called out here in these articles are good hearted honest people who would give you the shirt off of there back..! Heck I dont know how many times as a child and an adult that I have found pottery or random artifacts in the back yard or many other places in that area and just tossed them aside, because honestly who really gives a crap besides people who have never been around anything like this and indians who's job is to act like they have a perpose here on earth...! These people are good people and should be left alone..! Specially people like Jeanne Redd who has now lost more than those people who take part in this case will ever know..R.I.P JIM you were and outstanding doctor and an even better uncle...!

You must have a pretty low IQ Or were raised off the res. I'm white, res raised and read. Actually 'natives' of north america were of african decent ( from where we ALL arose) as was the 'Clovis' man. So cool your jets brown brother. There are more of your kind digging and trading antiquities and bone than others. Redds and Shumways aside, you should check out the 'markets' in Santa Fe and greet your neighbors.....or maybe you're guilty yourself!!

Let's get this rigth this time. We were put on this earth to live our lives like everybody else. Good people in Blanding? That's bull manure. There's only a few there. We get treated like crap there, but you Mormons make money off the Native Americans, Some make more money off the artifacts. So, your uncle leave you a large sum of greed money for you I suppose?

Native American: Fact is prehistoric aboriginals/natives did indeed dig up the cemeteries of their ancestors. It's been proven archaeologically that that the later basketmaker people and early pueblo people dug up early peoples looking for turquoise and shell jewelry. Not trying to pick a bone, certainly doesn't make it right to do it, BUT...it did happen and it did happen in many areas of the SW? Just an FYI.

I do think alot of those in Blanding were/are guilty of a crime and will end up paying for them. I agree that certain activities common in small towns across the US should be stopped if being done on government or state lands.
