13-year-old dead of apparent accidental shooting

A mother came home from work and found her 13-year-old son dead from an apparently accidental gunshot wound that happened when he dropped a handgun, Webster Parish sheriff's deputies said.

Keep the family and their friends in our prayers.
They do so much for the community. It is hard to understand this tragic event.
