The official count of votes cast in the primary for magisterial district judge in the Milton area confirmed Friday that Mike Diehl won the Democratic nomination by three votes over Lisa A. Riley.

A state police fire marshal is unable to determine the cause of a three-alarm fire that gutted one West Arch Street home and caused severe damage to two others early Thursday morning.

Unofficial returns show that Diehl enjoyed a healthy margin of victory in the Republican primary while edging his nearest competitor on the Democratic ballot by only three votes.
