Veteran Herb Wolfinger said he thinks of his friends from the war "all the time." With the rock statue of a Civil War veteran looming over several assembled veterans, the post commander stood before the local American Legion Post 61 building as dozens looked on.

A motorcyclist was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon with injuries that were not life threatening after his motorcycle skidded on some dirt on a corner and he went into the opposite lane and collided with a pickup truck.
